This program is tailored for early-stage product managers or aspiring PMs who have completed courses but lack the confidence to initiate their product management journey. It's not just a tutorial; it's a personalized coaching experience featuring 8 masterclasses, weekly 1-on-1 sessions (up to 30 minutes), and dynamic offline discussions for collaborative learning on WhatsApp.
Course Overview:
Week 1: "Who?" - Users and Beyond
• Dive deep into user-centric methodologies such as journey mapping, story mapping, user stories, ICP, Jobs to be done, and explore user types beyond traditional personas. Introduction to Design Thinking.
Week 2: "What?" - Unleashing Problem-Centric Approaches
• Master design thinking and user-centric approaches to identify and solve problems. Learn frameworks for observation, engagement, immersion, defining problem statements, prioritization, and delve into the practicalities of MVP.
Week 3: Data-Driven Decision Making
• Understand the power of data from the ground up. Whether you have data or not, explore lean analytics for product management and key marketing metrics to drive informed decisions.
Week 4: Data Science Essentials
• Gain insights into the real work of data science, covering the basics of ML, AI, and Gen AI for impactful product management.
Week 5: Enterprise Product Management
• Navigate the complexities of managing enterprise-level products. Explore tools, frameworks, and strategies tailored for success across diverse domains. Role of PM in Agile ans SAFe.
Week 6: Technology Landscape
• Equip yourself with essential software architecture and technical foundations crucial for effective product management. Get a sneak peek into the latest technologies shaping the market.
Week 7: Soft Skills for PMs - Part 1
• Develop essential soft skills, including networking, influencing without authority, and practical frameworks for achieving work-life balance.
Week 8: Soft Skills for PMs - Part 2
• Dive deeper into soft skills with sessions on storytelling, asking great questions, and mastering the art of multitasking with practical frameworks.
Week 9-10: Mock Interviews & Reflection
• 3-4 volunteers go through practical mock interviews. Be a volunteer or gain insights and learn from their experiences in these interactive sessions, held over two weekends.
